Zeitlos: Ein paar Schritte entfernt befindet sich das Café Phönixhof. Dieses ist seit mehreren Studentengenerationen Hort des links-feminstisch-alternativen Diskurses. Auch heute hängen an den Kleiderständern eher Palästinensertücher denn Kaschmirschals. Speis und Trank sind gut und billig geblieben und sind auch für schwerbesteuerte studentische Nebeneinkommen erschwinglich. Die Musikauswahl setzt einen Schwerpunkt auf die frühen Siebziger, unterscheidet sich von RTL 2 jedoch durch die Qualität.
